5 Focus Pad Combinations to Keep Your Clients Interested

A daily challenge for boxing padholders is coming up with new and authentic combinations to keep boxing sessions interesting and your clients engaged.

So we’re providing you with 5 FREE boxing padwork combinations from the Punchfit® 50 Pad Work Boxing Combinations Book.

QUE + SPACER + LEFT JAB + LEFT UPPERCUT + RIGHT CROSS
+ DUCK LEFT PAD + LEFT JAB + RIGHT CROSS

TECHNICAL TIPThe spacer thrown at the start of the combo is great for fit clients as it requires more footwork and energy expenditure.

QUE + LEFT JAB + RIGHT CROSS + LEFT JAB + QUE
+ PADHOLDER TURNS 900 + REPEAT

TECHNICAL TIP It is vital for the padholder to go to the que position prior to turning 90 degrees. Keep turning clockwise after each 3 punch combo.

QUE + 2X LEFT JAB + RIGHT HOOK + LEFT JAB + DUCK RIGHT PAD
+ LEFT JAB + SPACER

TECHNICAL TIPThe left jab after the duck should be landed firmly; the goal of this combo is to set this last big left up for a solid hit on the pads.

QUE + STEP TO THE LEFT + 3 STRAIGHT PUNCHES + QUE
+ STEP TO THE RIGHT

TECHNICAL TIPThe padholder needs to step to the side first then the puncher should follow – never the other way around.

QUE + SNAP LEFT JAB LOW + RIGHT CROSS + LEFT JAB
+ RIGHT CROSS + SPACER

TECHNICAL TIPThe snap jab is thrown with the left shoulder held high against the chin for protection; lead the jab with the elbow first and then allow your left arm to arc out in a snapping movement to the target.
